P/S: I spilt coffee right down my white headscarf right before my viva. That was an *amazing* start to my day. Luckily my day turned out considerably better as it went on :)

Caught my flight!
Fast forward three months, and I've now submitted my soft-bound thesis, and I'm now sitting in a lounge at Heathrow waiting for my coach to Southampton.
I'M BACK!
Yes, apparently the UK has just let me in again.. for up to SIX MONTHS!
Woo \o/
Not that I'll stay here for six months, that is. I only have enough money for two weeks :P
(Does anybody have any spare cash lying around..?)
My viva's next Wed. Wish me luck :)
In the meantime, I feel like a zombie. I've only slept 3 hours in the last 20, and I feel a bit light-headed..

Missed my flight
When I left the UK, I bought myself a return ticket just in case I decided to return to visit.
The return flight was last night.
I'm still here in Malaysia.
It's a bit surreal. I didn't tell anyone in the family that my return flight was yesterday, but we ended up going to Kuala Lumpur International Airport anyway because we were sending off my brother to Singapore.
As I watched my brother walk down the escalator to the immigration desks, I couldn't help think how that could've been me.
Sigh.
But as a very wise man once told me, it's fine revisiting the past, but not if you keep living in the past.

Unexpected
Life's taken a slightly unexpected turn at the moment.
You know how you thought you had a vague idea of how your life would turn out? That although you didn't know the answers to everything, at least you were fairly certain about A, B or C.
Yeah I've had my faith completely shaken at the moment.
And it feels strangely.. OK.
On a less mysterious note, I now have a hard 3-month deadline to see this bloody thesis off.

For one thing, I can't wait to see the back of it. But the more immediate concern is HOW THE F*** AM I GONNA FINISH IN 3 MONTHS?!
*hyperventilating*
God. Halp.
